I've been attending Imago Dei for over five years now. I've seen it grow from a few people to a vibrant and loving community where God transforming lives. Imago Dei believes Jesus is in the business of restoring all things - especially the Image of God in all people and this family lives it. They value children and don't just teach children stories about God - they help children see how God is inviting them into His story so kids can know God personally. You don't have to be an Anglican (or even know what an Anglican is) - you don't even have to be the churchgoing type - to belong here and experience love. The worship is vibrant, the sermons are engaging, the members are real and friendly, and God shows up to heal, to deliver, to save. I think everyone should visit and consider coming home to this community.
Imago Dei is a vibrant and engaged church community! My favourite things about the church service include the music, the sermons and taking Eucharist together. I always felt welcomed as I was greeted by the friendly hospitality crew! The church works at being very welcoming to visitors and helping people become engaged in the community quickly. There is great diversity in ages and backgrounds of the church members.
A wonderfully welcoming community regardless of your background! Worship music is always on point, and I've always been made to feel like family!
