This a a fairly large typical Walmart. They do have an adequate supply of mobility carts, though they tend to allow the customers to take them outside despite their policy of in-store-use-only. They have a large parking lot, but often the handicapped parking is full. The store is clean, the staff is helpful to a degree. I have had a few staff members go above and beyond in helping me. It's usually busy so the store can be crowded. I've noticed that the staff is constantly stocking or working on something making it difficult to navigate without running into roadblocks in the aisles especially if your using a mobility cart.
As you would expect they have every thing. It definitely is a one stop shopping, you could easily spend a week browseing, customer service was like being serviced by family!
Refused to return an item that had been shipped to my home but was wrong item. Gave me the run-around telling me it was not possible and it was something they couldn't do and I had to call Walmart customer service and ship it back for a refund. Called the Newport Walmart and they said they would absolutely do it and it was no problem and to bring it right in. They happily did the refund with no questions asked, will never return to Stillwater store. I don't like getting screwed around
For the most part there's always good prices and there's a variety of foods, including some of the new fad foods like chia and flax
The shoppers at this location are particularly rude. I was bumped into by 3 people not looking up from their phones. The store is laid out very differently from the wal marts in central maine. It was a very stressful visit.
