Checked out the American Folk Festival. Got me some good blues and good food. Great event everything August in Bangor
Much nicer than the Bangor waterfront used to be. Mostly clean, although some spots are better than others. Also a good spot to catch Pokemon, if you are into Pokemon Go.
Parking Sucks! The worst signage of any venue in the Northeast! The seating is marginal at best.
The annual American Folk Festival is the best show around. If you don't like the music, wait a minute. Somebody else will be right along with a different style. It's a great mix of the styles of music which have helped make America great. Put it on your calendar for next year. Did I mention its free? Actually they do ask for donations and you should ... About twice what they ask.
