I have been going here for 6 years. Always great staff, nice and helpful. Had a ACL donor surgery, Dr was amazing. I am back again for injuries and need a knee replacement. Instead of rushing me in to make money they care and said you are to young we need to wait 10-15 years! These are people who care about the patients!

Love this place!! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I just had my final appointment for a broken wrist and I am thrilled with the results. Five months later and I have almost full function and no pain-much better than I ever expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Do NOT go to this doctor! I had a horrific experience and it is still ongoing! It's been almost 8 years and it has RUINED my life and my sons life! Unfortunately, on April 29th,2010 when I broke my ankle, I got stuck with Dr. McGuire for emergency surgery and my life will NEVER be the same!

Worst medical administration experience of my life, and still ongoing. I tore my meniscus on Feb. 4 2017. After waiting for my primary physician and Aetna and Downeast Orthepedics, I finally got an appointment on Feb. 28th. From the 4th through mid March, I was on crutches and pain meds. On Feb. 28th, I had an office visit and then they scheduled an MRI for March 8th. After the MRI, I attempted to have a conversation about the results over the phone almost daily, but never could connect with my doctor. So I scheduled another appointment on March 17th. At that appt,. he gave me a steroid shot and said if it didn't work by the following monday, then he would refer me to a surgeon. It didn't work. I called on March 21 and he said he would refer me to a surgeon in their practice. I waited and waited, no referral. Still don't have one. So I went to a new primary physician, and got a referral to Main Medical Partners. They called THE NEXT DAY. Thank you Maine Medical Partners and EMMC Internal medicine. Now I am in an epic battle to get Downeast Orthepedics to actually send my records to Maine Medical Partners. It is absolutely mind blowing the amount of inept administration that accompanies health care, particularly at Downeast Orthepedics. I think I will end up just re-doing the MRI and everything else because it will take another month to get my records from Downeast and I am sick and tired of being in pain and limping around in snow and ice.VERY UNHAPPY WITH DOWNEAST.
