Can't believe it! It's been a month exercising at Wilcox Fitness. I am so amazed by what I have changed since I joined here. I could do zero push up a month ago. Tonight I did 5 push ups after I regained some strength at home. I attempted a little bit earlier at Wilcox Fitness after I finished my 50 minutes strength training session without quitting in the middle. Paige is a wonderful person who did the initial consultation and encouraged me to get started and helped solve my time scheduling problems. All the personal trainers are very friendly and helpful! Every trainee here is full of energy and positivity. I love the atmosphere in this fitness center. I highly recommend it!
As a physical education teacher and coach, I can tell you that this is an outstanding program! Their trainers provide excellent feedback and are so supportive.They stress technique and can tailor the workout to meet your specific needs. The workouts are different every session and all you have to do is show up and do the work. The trainers make the sessions challenging but fun! Everyone I have met there is so positive and welcoming.
Near my 80th birthday I decided I needed to develop more balance and strength.At Wilcox Fitness and Health I received much more help than I anticipated. The focus on healthy eating and my work with a super trainer has already produced positive changes. I look forward to each training session.

I started working out at Wilcox Wellness and Fitness about a month ago and I feel the best I have felt in years! I have always been an active person but a knee injury sidelined me a couple of years ago. After rehabbing my knee, I wanted to start working out again. I was very intrigued about functional training and began looking at the Wilcox website. After my initial contact, I went in to see the facility and meet with the staff. After 15 minutes of observing a training session and hearing their philosophy, I signed on.
I recently completed the four week kickstart program. I signed up for the program because I was looking for structure and consistency in my routine. After not going to a gym for almost a year and not eating well on my own consistently, I wanted a program that would give me structure. The guidance I received from all of the trainers and comfortable atmosphere during the 3 weekly workouts helped give me the necessary tools for a successful experience. The meal plan was very well planned and often created leftovers for ease during my busy work week. I appreciated that during the group sessions all of the trainers took time to demonstrate the routine and give individual support. Other members were also very supportive if I had a question on a specific exercise. Overall I am blown away that in 4 weeks I can truly feel the difference in my energy level and waist line :). I look forward to continuing my success with the trainers at Wilcox and recommend the program to anyone who wants to learn healthy eating habits and have a supportive environment during training sessions.
The coaches at Wilcox Wellness and Fitness really take the time to give you what you need to have a successful workout. They adjust your physical technique as needed so that you can get the most out of the workout. Everyone is very friendly, and I didn't have any feelings of intimidation starting out. I look forward to getting to the gym twice a week and by the time I'm done my class I'm physically spent, but feel great.
