The friendly, helpful staff loves their jobs and love to help the animals. As an ACO, I have taken many strays and abandoned animals to BHS and they get excellent care and usually find a great forever home. They are an excellent source for your next pet or resource to help you care for a pet with their extensive knowledge of animals and animal care.

Not very hel0ful and pretty expensive for pets
him and though he wasnt able to take him home, he made arrangements with this humane society to care for my 8 year old dog who has problems with other dogs and people.. They graciously took him in, cared for him, walked him 2x a day, the young woman who reunited us said he did really good and adjusted well.. He's a smart boy but i, I'm surprised at how well he gave trust in those he sensed around him.. This won't be my only visit.. These people truly care and believe in kindness towards animals.. In my opinion, the Bangor humane society is a shining light on our city

The people who work at the humane society are very unprofessional and rude. Extremely mean to the dogs, from what I've seen.
