Hands down one of the best locally owned up scale eateries in Bangor Maine. The food is fantastic and the owner Laura takes a personal touch with all her guests. You can tell by speaking with her that good food and the restaurant are her passion. If you are looking for fine dining and are in the Bangor area, this is the place.

We always comment that, if you want top notch wait staff, let co-owner Laura train them. Service just doesn't get better in Bangor than at Fiddlehead! The food is top notch as well - locally sourced, impeccably described (think first episode of Portlandia), and always deliciously prepared with careful attention to subtle flavoring.
Truly a wonderful dinning experience. The atmosphere is stimulating and comfortable, staff is kind and excited to share the experience with you. All of this is wonderful and then you are served... the blends of tastes, textures and aromas provide a wonderfully unique and delicious culinary adventure.
