I've been to several venues and this was the worst setup I've ever seen. Terrible. I think most people wasted the whole time waiting in line to either get in, go to the bathroom or get a drink. I've never seen a more unorganized event in my life. Not only that, but I could barely hear the music. I will never go to another concert at Bangor waterfront.

Gates open way too late to let the crowd in before the band's started. Very little signage for lines entering either lawn seats or assigned seats. Security was absolutely over the top, having to empty your pockets and go through metal detector. If there is going to be that kind of screening to get in, you'd better open the gates a hell of a lot earlier! Everyone stands, and when they do, it's virtually impossible to see the stage. I will think long and hard before I spend money on a concert there again

I love this venue. The acts are great; all the seats are good from the front section to the lawn. There is a beautiful view of the river and the staff is polite. Best of all at the end of the night you are not sitting in long lines of traffic like you do at other venues.

Has to be one of the worst venues by far. The bands are amazing and the music is great. However the lay out, organization, quality and even the audiovisual are just terrible. Food is bad and over priced. We were there for a two day festival and they ran out of food repeatedly. The "lawn" is actually gravel and dirt. Prepaid parking garage is at least a half mile walk from the venue. No signage or direction in and out of the venue. The whole place is awful.

The waterfront experience used to be a lot more awesome. Just went to see Tool and they had SEATS. Yes indeed, seats at a metal concert. Oh and you can't smoke or you'll get thrown out, but they'll feed you as many $10 beers as humanly possible. The environment seems more stiff and structured than before it was a lot more wild and free. ✌
