I would give it no stars if I could. Let's just start off with the fact that my car was there for 6 months. 4 before he even touched it. I paid him for the parts like most people do then I was going to pay him for labor when the job was completed, but instead he waited until I paid him for labor to even start the job. He told me it was going to be done on a Wednesday morning, I called that Wednesday and one of the guys that works for him told me that he had JUST started on it that morning??? Like are you kidding me?? And to top it all off, after a week of driving my car when I finally got it back it stopped working so I called him and he basically told me its not his problem, come to find out none of the bolts or clips were in my TIMING BELT that he had just replaced...just fyi that's a VERY important part in a vehicle and if that had broke if I happened to be on the interstate I could have been killed. I would NOT recommend this garage to ANYONE. He does not know what he is doing and should no longer be in business. I'm sorry that this is the way it had to go but if anyone is reading this please just do yourself a favor and pick a different garage. And to the people below saying that its "reasonably priced" that's because he does a half ass job.
They post their hourly rate on the door so there are really no surprises and they call before they fix anything. I'm very laid back and not in a rush so I don't care how long it takes to fix my car and it works well if you just drop it off and let them do their thing if you need a tune-up.
Very reasonable prices, very friendly service. This place/person was recommended to me by a friend and I would most certainly pass on the recommendation. I usually do not write reviews which says a lot about the service.
Tom's keeps their prices low by only accepting cash and check (eliminating fees from credit cards) and does pretty much everything you might want done to your vehicle. I had a door that was unopenable and nobody else would touch it, they got it open for me (which I actually didn't think was possible). So they get an A+ in my experience. And some cookies.
