As always, the service department was easy to communicate with, understood the problem, gave good advice, and took the appropriate steps when I brought the car in. I find the service department at Quirk Chevy to be friendly and helpful. They give good value in the work they do. Most importantly, they explain what they are doing and then follow through.
Went for extended warranty covered service (new gas tank), They took half a day to do this simple job. I knew that the pump had a small evap leak. They proceeded to break the plastic on the pump and told me I had to get a new one (a measly 450 dollars). When I declined, they threatened that the car would blow up. I told them it won't even leak if I don't overfill the tank. Bought one off Amazon for 50 bucks, installed it myself, and will never darken their door again, for anything, ever.
I had bought 2 cars at this dealership. I feel that I got screwed both times. Wouldn't go back. The parts department employees were disrespectful, and slow. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor when actually, the customer is keeping them working. Quirk has gotten too big and impersonal. We will not shop there again.
We have enjoyed working with Quirk and its employees for several vehicles. We were looking at new vehicle brands not sold at Quirk in Bangor, but since the customer services has been amazing at Quirk, we chose to stay with your dealership. No other dealership has even come close to your level of customer service and care. We have been more than pleased with your service department, salesmen, and finance department. The dealership always makes good trade in offers up front, doesn't pressure for a sales that day, and allows us to purchase on our timeline. We will be back next summer when we are ready to trade my husband's truck.
We dealt with a salesman named Chris in the Chevy part of Quirk's. He was great! He didn't rush me, or try to push something on me that I didn't want. He was patient, showed me several different options based on what I wanted, and had a great personality as well. He made it so comfortable for me to buy this vehicle, and answered every question I could think of. Some of the men here tried to push vehicles on me that I didn't want. But Chris was great. I definitely recommend going here if you are looking to buy a vehicle, and ask for Chris C. You won't be sorry!
