Hidden fees! Charged me extra for allowing my partner to drive. Tried adding her on day by day basis but they require that having a secondary driver on record must be consecutive. This would've easily added $100+ extra into the rental

Horrible, non-existent customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. Rude, no effort to help and refused to give refund when they couldn't honor our rental contract (your card will be credited "in due course") ... Avoid Hertz like the plague!
I would like to not even give it a star! I had an insurance clam put in on 9/30/2017. They reserved me a car. When I went to pick it up on 10/01/2017 They told me they didn't have any cars and I could check back tomorrow. I asked them to call me so I wouldn't have to waste a trip. They them told me again I could check back tomorrow. I got the rental on 10/02/2017. Later returned it on 10/04/2017. The man at the desk didn't know to to return a insurance clam car and made a phone call. When he go off the phone he told me all I needed to do was give an email address for the receipt. I have yet to receive a receipt and when I tried to confirm that it has been returned on 10/08/2017 I was told the office wasn't open and they couldn't even tell me if it was returned. I would of course have to check back tomorrow. When I went in today 10/09/2017 I was told the office closed at 3 and once again I would have to check back tomorrow. I still do not know if I am paying for a car I returned almost a week ago. I am furious with the "support" at this location and will not be returning here ever again!!!
Reserved car online. Simple easy process. Confirm options, put in debit card number, check the box saying we're not flying, get a confirmation of our reservation. Show up at the kiosk at the airport the next day and get told that we unequivocally CANNOT RENT A CAR WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD unless we have return flight information. At no point during the reservation process was it indicated that a credit card was required and naturally I'm not flying since I live in the city. I have never had a credit card in my life, they lacked the capacity to run my VISA-backed debit card as credit, they don't take checks or cold hard cash, and they wouldn't even let me pay up front. Less than a year ago I did rent a car from Hertz with a debit card but apparently they and all the rentals in the airport have changed their policy so Enterprise will be getting all future business from me since they were willing to take my money without fuss.
